Sometimes we need to be alone.
To be completely dedicated to ourselves without interference from the outside world.
No obligations, no demands. Nothing but you.

This is the way it looked when it came out of the darkroom.
Probably my favourite photograph, of all the ones I've taken.
I wish the guy was a little bigger, but I think it looks awesome. I am just starting to learn about photography...it seems like such an interesting part of the art world..hehe
Thank you.
And the "guy" is actually my mom, hehe.
What I like about photography is that it's much much faster than for example graphite portraits,
so you can realize much more of your concepts. And you don't get bored as fast because you
don't have to spend hours upon hours trying to perfect the piece. Just some relatively fast postwork
in PS. This one didn't really have any postwork at all. Just adjusting it to look like the physical copy.

Whoa!! Sorry...the figure is kind of "androgynous" or however you spell that word...is that even the right word?? I like that about it though, now..haha. I was thinking the same thing about photography actually...just how much easier it is to express what you need to express. Granted, I am just learning and I am sure there is so much I need to know, but it seems awesome to be able to compose everything so simply.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
